When you book a service or request a tow, we collect the information you provide: your name, phone number, email address, vehicle details (year, make, model, VIN, mileage), preferred appointment date and time, and any notes you share about your vehicle's condition. For towing requests, we also collect your pickup location and GPS coordinates if you choose to share them. If you create a customer portal account, we store your account credentials and service history.
We use your information to schedule and confirm service appointments, send booking confirmations and reminders, provide real-time service status updates, generate and send repair estimates and invoices, dispatch towing services to your location, and communicate with you about your vehicle's service. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
By checking the SMS opt-in box during booking, you consent to receive transactional text messages from Miles Tech Auto regarding appointment confirmations, service status updates, and related notifications. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. Opting out will not affect your ability to receive service via other channels.
We send email confirmations, estimates, invoices, and service status notifications to the email address you provide. You may opt out of non-essential email communications by contacting us at the phone number or email listed below. Transactional emails related to your active service appointments will continue until the service is complete.
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information using secure storage and encrypted transmission. Access to your data is restricted to authorized personnel who need it to provide your service. We retain your service records and vehicle information for as long as necessary to provide ongoing service and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
